KVT-400 Ventilation Control

The programmable controller offers convenient automatic control of curtains, fans, soakers, and lights.

Barn ventilation features

Stop choosing between fresh air and wet bedding.

Manual curtain management is a losing battle. If you’re seeing foggy air, damp bedding, or condensation on your stalls, your barn is under-ventilated—leading directly to winter respiratory issues.

The KVT-400 was designed exclusively for livestock. Unlike generic controllers, it “thinks” like a farmer: it uses advanced sensors to identify wind direction, closing only the windward curtains to block drafts while keeping the rest of the barn open for vital air exchange.

Why AutoVent?

AutoVent was founded by Kevin Hoover out of a simple necessity: Most controllers didn’t know how to handle wind.

While other systems blindly close every curtain when the temperature drops, the KVT-400 is built to be selective. By closing only the windward side, your barn maintains maximum air exchange at lower temperatures, keeping your herd dry and respiratory-risk-free.
